La principale serie di eventi del settore medicale fa il suo debutto sul mercato italiano

L'Italia è il terzo principale mercato europeo, in ordine di grandezza, per gli OEM medicali. Ogni anno, oltre 32.000 dipendenti del settore OEM medicale italiano generano ricavi per un totale di USD13 miliardi. Tale settore comprende 2.500 fabbricanti di dispositivi medicali e fabbricanti di componenti e sub-assemblaggi da utilizzare nei dispositivi medicali.

Come i mercati tedesco e francese che lo precedono in graduatoria, anche l'Italia registra solide performance, con una crescita ragguardevole del mercato dei dispositivi medicali, pari al 6-7% annuo. I settori di fabbricazione di dispositivi ortopedici e cardiovascolari registrano una crescita ancora superiore, pari a oltre il 10%!

Circa l'80% di tutte le imprese italiane attive nell'industria di fabbricazione dei dispositivi medicali è ubicato nell'Italia del Nord. La Valle biomedicale di Modena, che include l'area tra le città di Modena e Mirandola, ospita oltre 100 fabbricanti medicali e viene identificata come il cuore dell'industria italiana di fabbricazione di dispositivi medicali.

MEDTEC Italia è ubicata in posizione ideale, presso il quartiere fieristico Modena Fiere, ed è facilmente raggiungibile in auto da migliaia di progettisti, professionisti della fabbricazione, tecnici QA/QC ed esecutivi responsabili degli approvvigionamenti di oltre 2.000 società di dispositivi medicali, non ubicate soltanto nella Vallata biomedicale di Modena ma anche nella Svizzera italiana.
